Samsung Air conditioners have a self-diagnosis system, thanks to which they themselves read information about the condition of the device and, if any violations occur, report it to the user. The error message appears in the form of an audible signal and a color indicator, as well as certain combinations of numbers and letters on the display. It is important to know the Samsung air conditioner error codes in order to understand what exactly happened to the device.
As soon as the system detects a malfunction, it reports this using a special code that appears on the display. If this is your first time encountering something like this, you don’t know exactly what this or that combination means. We have listed the most common error codes in the table below.

Indoor Display Error and Check Method
If error occurs during the operation, badness is indicated by LED flickering and all operation is stopped except LED.
When reoperating by remote control and switch determine the error mode after normal operation.

Errors are read using the remote control. To do this, press the check/control button. The code will be displayed on the indicator panel. The name of the button itself depends on the specific air conditioner model - a detailed description of the actions can be found in the instructions.
How to read an air conditioner error code
If all indicators are flashing, this is an EEPROM (internal volatile memory) error. If the system detects more than one error, the one with the highest priority is displayed first.
It is easier to perceive the information if you know that the error code, which begins with F-1, F-2, F-3, F-4, F-5, F-6, F-7, etc., indicates that that the problem lies in the signal transmission, temperature sensors, control board. This can also be said about closure. If the error code begins with the values E-1, E-2, E-3, E-4, E-5, E-6, etc., this indicates a wider range of problems: from no signal to start to critical current characteristics.
If the device shows an error, in most cases you will have to call a technician to fix it. Only a specialist has the necessary skills to determine the characteristics of the malfunction and promptly eliminate it. For your part, you can only check the integrity of the wires and the correctness of the connection itself.
It is better to turn off the air conditioner and disconnect it from the power supply until the technician arrives. It is not recommended to repair the device yourself, because each model has its own characteristics, which only a specialist understands. Do not try to perform complex repairs yourself, so as not to cause further damage to the equipment.
