The wires in the power cord are colored according to the following code:

BLUE ~ Neutral

BROWN ~ Live

YELLOW AND GREEN WIRE ~ Ground

F1 Thermistor error - no heating.

F2 Cooking thermistor error - insufficient heating.

F3 Thermistor error - the device does not cool.

F4 Humidity sensor error.

F5 Door sensor error - did not close.

LG microwave ovens with a digital display display an error code of type E-X, F-X or H-U when a malfunction occurs. This means that the problem indicated by the error code needs to be repaired. After repair, the microwave oven continues its normal operation. Let's look at what error codes there are for LG microwave ovens:

The H-U error code in an LG microwave indicates that the heating element is in the wrong position and the convection mode is turned off. In order for the microwave oven to start operating in normal convection mode, the heating element must be pressed against the back of the microwave oven until a characteristic click is heard, and the H-U error will disappear from the microwave display.

Error code H-d in an LG microwave oven means the heater position is incorrect. To solve this problem, you need to move the heater to a horizontal position, or check the position sensor.

Error code E-1 in an LG microwave indicates no heating. Repair is carried out by checking the heating sensor and the operation of the microwave heater.

Error code E-2 in LG microwave oven means insufficient heating for cooking. In order for the microwave to continue to operate, it is necessary to preheat the oven in convection mode for several minutes. If the error persists, you should check the microwave heater system.

Error code E-3 in an LG microwave oven means the appliance is overheating or not cooling enough.

Error code E-4 in an LG microwave indicates problems with the humidity sensor. In order to repair the microwave, it is necessary to check the humidity or humidity sensor in the heating chamber.

The operating principle of the device is simple. The user plugs in the microwave oven, and voltage is supplied to the transformer windings. There, the voltage is doubled for faster heating. The magnetron creates radiation that affects food and “warms” it from the inside.

The most common breakdowns of LG microwave ovens are:

• Sparking during operation. The reason is a violation of the enamel, damage to the magnetron protection. Further use of the equipment is prohibited; it is hazardous to health.
• Noise and hum. Problems with the cooling fan or transformer.
• Startup problems. If the equipment does not turn on, check the network cable, temperature sensor, door lock and microswitch.
• Long heating. The operating time exceeds the specified time. The magnetron will probably fail soon.
• Tray blocking. Normally, the tray rotates so that the food is heated evenly. When rotation does not occur, it is worth checking the engine or its contacts with the pan.

• No heating. Diagnostics of the magnetron, winding fuses, and protective relays are carried out. Sometimes power surges in the network lead to the problem.
