The oven does not turn on

The reasons are very varied:

• The heating module is broken. The solution is to change it.
• LG controller failure.
• Insufficient voltage in the network.
• The oven thermostat or thermocouple is faulty.
• Piezo ignition is faulty. The solution is to repair or install a working one.
• Broken electrical socket or power plug.
• Rotary switches or control sensors are faulty.

LG oven turns off

If the oven suddenly turns off during heating, this situation may indicate various problems:

• The gas control unit is faulty. The solution is to repair or install a new unit.
• The gas burner nozzles are clogged. The temperature controller is damaged. The solution is to replace the part.
• The heating element burned out - the heating module.
• The circuit breaker knocks out due to an electrical overload.

Temperature sensor does not work

A fairly common reason why the oven does not heat. A bimetallic temperature sensor is used to open the circuit and thereby prevent major problems if the oven temperature rises significantly. If the temperature sensor is broken, the oven will be constantly inoperative.

Alternatively, the temperature sensor circuit may also have broken. This can only be checked using a multimeter.

The thermocouple has failed

Any oven model has an element called a thermocouple. This part is located at the bottom of the oven. Externally, the thermocouple resembles a wire and is attached to the heater. If the oven often operates at high temperatures, then the thermocouple fails and needs to be replaced. Please note that the thermocouple cannot be restored.
