View from the room
Outside view
What to pay attention to. This is the most common installation scheme. The door under which the outdoor air conditioner unit is located must open and be at least 40 cm wide. The surface of the facade is clean and smooth. There should be no satellite dishes, gas pipes, stucco, etc. under the window.
This option is suitable for installing air conditioners in rooms on the 1st floor. Otherwise, an industrial climber may be required. Pay attention to the distance between the windows. It should be large enough to place the block outside.
The balcony must not be glazed. If glazing is still present, the sash at the end (where the street block hangs) must necessarily open.
If the balcony has glazing, the sash on the side where the street block is installed must open. The balcony parapet (the part where the street block is located) must be made of permanent material (brick, concrete). The outside surface is clean and smooth.
The door on the installation side of the street block must open. The balcony parapet (the part under the glazing) must be made of permanent material (brick, concrete). The outside surface is clean and smooth. Part of the interblock communications will pass along the balcony. If the balcony is not yet decorated, communications can be laid open. If the balcony is already covered with something (painted, etc.), it is advisable to cover the communications with decorative boxes.
When working on the placement of the indoor unit of the air conditioner, there are some details to consider.
The area where you plan to fix the indoor unit must be strong enough to support the weight of the unit.
At this place there should be no obstacles to the air intake and “exhaust” of air, that is, unhindered air circulation should be ensured.
The site should provide the easiest installation of pipelines and cables leading to the outdoor unit.
There must be space under the indoor unit to provide unobstructed access to the unit for warranty repairs and to the filters for service.
