Error codes and methods for eliminating them for Ariston refrigerators and freezers. Such models are capable of independently identifying faults and reporting them to the owner by displaying the corresponding code on the display.

Diagnostics and troubleshooting
If Error A1 appears on the display, the reasons may be the following:
- the fan does not work due to accumulated ice, as a result of which air is not pumped into the refrigerator compartment;
- the evaporator freezes due to a broken sensor;
- The heating element burned out;
- control board error;
- the seal is damaged or the hinges are sagging, as a result of which the door does not fit tightly and warm air enters the chamber.
If Error A2 appears on the display of your Ariston refrigerator, this means that the temperature is insufficient for normal storage of food in the refrigerator or freezer compartment. Causes of malfunction:
- Compressor malfunction.
- Refrigerant leak.
- Malfunction of the thermostat or temperature sensor.
- Door seal is broken.
Prevention of the problem
To prevent the Hotpoint Ariston refrigerator from breaking down, you need to follow a number of simple preventive measures. Firstly, the device must be connected to the mains via a stabilizer. This is due to constant voltage drops, which negatively affect the condition of the equipment. The refrigerator consumes little electricity, so it will require a low-power and inexpensive stabilizer. Otherwise, you need to connect the refrigerator at least through a surge protector. You need to understand that repairs in the event of a breakdown will cost much more.

A1 – The temperature in the freezer has risen to critical levels.
A2 – The temperature in the freezer is not low enough.
F01- Compressor relay defective.
F02- Compressor enable relay is open.
F03- Power board malfunction.
F04 -No rotation of the freezer fan.
F05- Electronically controlled damper defective.
F06- Defect in the thyristor for controlling the defrosting heating element.
F07- Broken defrosting heating element.
F08- Solenoid valve defect.
F09- Program error Firmware failure.
F10- For NO-FROST model: damper On is faulty. Off, for CCZ model, the secondary solenoid valve is faulty.
F11- Defect in the fan control thyristor in the refrigerator compartment.
F12- There is no communication between the display board and the control board.
F13- No fan rotation in the refrigerator compartment.
F14- Power board defective.
F15 - Defect in the thyristor for controlling the heating element of the Multiflow system.
F16- No rotation of the refrigerator fan. The heating element of the Multiflow system does not turn on (for the NO-FROST model).
F17- Vacuum pump defective (Ever Fresh model), solenoid valve defective (Aqua Care model).
F18- AQUA CARE solenoid valve defective.
F20- The refrigeration chamber lighting lamp has burned out.
F21- NTC temperature.
F22- Defective NTC sensor in the refrigerator compartment.
F23- Defective evaporator NTC sensor in the refrigerator compartment.
F24- Defective NTC sensor in the freezer compartment.
F25- Defective NTC sensor of the freezer evaporator.
F26- CCZ air NTC sensor defective.
F28 - The display board is faulty.
Refrigerator key malfunction

To eliminate one of the above errors, you need to check the wires from the button to the control unit, as well as inspect and test the contacts. If necessary, you will need to order and install a new button to replace the broken one.
